RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support daily pre-design fiber plans based on incoming leads from regional sales and FisionX support teams.
2. Develop a fiber deployment roadmap for new markets.
3. Coordinate information requests related to GIS mapping systems applicable to the Network Planning and Engineering functions.
4. Create priority lists with regional input on problem 3rd party circuits and plans to remedy.
5. Create synergies with other departments related to network design such as MDF/headend placement, route design, and property optimization.
6. Identify, discover, and implement new tools to aid in information and task management for network planners and project analysts.
7. Partner with network planners on new property route selection and optimization of network plan based on the portfolio of projects in the review pipeline.
8. Utilizes industry and company knowledge to develop creative solutions to complex problems to clear obstacles to allow for rapid expansion growth.
9. Solicits feedback on existing processes and develops action plans to improve productivity based on feedback collected and the general needs of the business.
10. Collaborate with senior management to resolve schedule problems as they arise.
11. Builds inventory of all fiber routes pre-designed to look for synergies in routes.
12. Actively manage multiple time-sensitive requests, and effectively interface with all levels of management while supporting enhancements to the overall process.
13. Support the company’s general GIS strategy development and execution plan.
14. Document processes into Network Planning “Playbook.”
15. Supports, trains, and mentors new team members or employees on pre-contract assessment processes.
16. Other duties as required or assigned.
